Kingston Phan is giving Nicholls a steady freshman leg
In the 2026 season, Nicholls freshman kicker Kingston Phan has been perfect on field goals so far, including a 42-yarder, and has also handled kickoff duties with 4 extra points in the opener, giving the Colonels a reliable specialist right away. The early read: calm under pressure, competent from distance, and useful in multiple kicking roles. His prep résumé adds intrigue too — he reportedly made 14 of 16 field goals with a long of 46 yards as a senior — which suggests a poised, game-ready kicker with upside.
