Quincy Ivory is a disruptive, high-motor difference-maker for Jackson State
Quincy Ivory has emerged as one of Jackson State’s most impactful defenders, pairing a compact 6-foot-3, 239-pound frame with unusual versatility after converting from quarterback to defense. In 2025, he piled up 71 total tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, an interception, and two fumble recoveries, and he finished as a Buck Buchanan Award finalist and a third-team All-American. Coaches praised his run-game impact, pass-rush burst, and ability to play multiple alignments—he looks like a fit for a defense that wants a twitchy, assignment-sound chaos engine.
