UTEP's Wrist-Proof QB with 80-Yard TD Firepower
Cade McConnell, UTEP's senior QB, is a 100% recovered wrist-injury survivor who exploded with an 80-yard TD pass in 2023 and threw for 262 yards with two TDs in 2024, proving he thrives under pressure with elite deep-ball accuracy and relentless intensity. His personality blends quiet confidence with fierce competitiveness, making him a high-fit leader for any team needing a QB who can turn first plays into touchdowns. While he started as a backup in 2024, his fall camp performance and full recovery signal he's ready to lead the Blue Blaze offense, offering a differentiator in big-play intensity and resilience that stats alone can't capture.
