Bud Coombs is a Maryland freshman RB with legit developmental juice: a high-effort, tackle-evading runner who also brings value as a blocker and arrived as a top-20 Maryland recruit and top-50 RB nationally in the 2025 cycle. He chose the Terps because College Park lets him chase both football and baseball, which says a lot about his competitiveness and versatility.
