Arvell Nelson brings size, pedigree, and long-term QB upside to Central State
Arvell Nelson is a 6'3", 180-pound freshman quarterback from Cleveland’s Glenville HS, where he won two state championships and picked Central State over Kent State and Youngstown State, a strong sign the staff sees real developmental upside in him. His fit is about ceiling: he has the frame, winning background, and leadership traits you want in a project QB, but public college stat data is not yet available, so the true read is based more on pedigree and potential than production. If you want a young passer with upside and no shortage of confidence, he’s worth the look.
