In the 2025 season, freshman cornerback Jace Williams arrived at Tulsa as a 6-1, 185-pound defensive back with real length and a track record of impact, after earning all-district honors at Mesquite Horn and posting 43 career tackles, 11 pass breakups and 3 interceptions in high school. His appeal is obvious: press-ready size, active hands, and enough confidence to play on an island. He’s still early in his college career and doesn’t yet have a big statistical résumé, but the profile screams developmental upside for a staff that wants long, disruptive corners.
