Myles Farmer brings veteran DB range and a physical, high-IQ edge to App State
Farmer is a long, experienced defensive back for Appalachian State who has produced across three programs, including 72 tackles and an interception at Nebraska in 2022 and 20 tackles with a forced fumble at Syracuse in 2023; in 2024 at App State he was limited to three games by injury but still flashed with nine tackles and a tackle for loss, and in 2025 he was listed as a strong safety with a 73 overall rating and strong athletic traits, including 86 speed and 93 toughness. The fit is obvious for a team wanting a veteran communicator who can handle space, tackle reliably, and bring a little grown-man energy to the back end.
