Jackson State’s young kicker with live-game reps and upside
In the 2025 season, Simon Naylor appeared as Jackson State’s freshman place kicker and handled kickoffs, showing enough leg strength to produce multiple touchbacks while giving the Tigers a developing option in the specialist room.[1][7][11][13] At 6-foot, 176 pounds, he brings a lean, developmental frame and the kind of early special-teams utility that can quietly swing field position; the tradeoff is that there’s not yet much public evidence of a large kicking sample, so the fit is more “promising project” than proven finished product.[1][3][5]
