Nicholls DL Alex Villavaso brings academics, discipline and award-level leadership
Alex Villavaso is a **Nicholls defensive lineman** whose profile stands out for more than just football—he earned **2025 Southland Football All-Academic Team** recognition with a **3.46 GPA** in Health Pre-Professional, and in 2026 he was named a **Colonel Legacy Award** winner, signaling strong character and locker-room value.[1][3] For a team, that usually means a dependable, mature line piece who fits culture first and can be trusted to do the unglamorous work in the trenches.[1][3][4]
