6'4" Liberty QB whose promising career was cut short by concussion issues
Burger entered Liberty with a pro-style quarterback profile and a 6'4" frame, but his on-field sample has been extremely limited and his football future was derailed in 2025 when Liberty coach Jamey Chadwell said he was medically disqualified and would no longer play because of ongoing concussions. That makes him less of a current performance evaluation and more of a cautionary case: there is developmental QB upside on paper, but durability is the defining issue, and he is now moving into a coaching role rather than competing for snaps.
