Cal's Speedy FS with Elite Track Burner Potential
Jordan Sanford, a 6'0" junior free safety for the California Golden Bears, brings elite track speed (10.62 100m, 21.74 200m PRs from high school) to the secondary, making him a lockdown defender in coverage and a special teams ace.[2][3] In the 2025 season, he posted consistent tackles like 2-4 vs. Clemson and Stanford, showing ball-hawking instincts without major injuries noted.[1] His explosive athleticism and dedicated student-athlete vibe differentiate him—perfect fit for teams needing versatile, high-motor DBs who thrive in man coverage and return roles.[4]
