Jayden Kendricks is a 6-foot-2, 235-pound junior linebacker for San Diego State from Chula Vista, and he brings a homegrown, downhill style that fits a physical defense.[3][7][10] In high school he was a stat-stuffer—133 tackles as a senior, plus tackles for loss, sacks, interceptions, forced fumbles, and fumble recoveries—showing range, disruption, and playmaking instincts that go beyond the box score.[3] He redshirted in 2023 and did not appear in games in 2024, so the big question is how quickly that raw production translates to the college stage.[3]
