Jake Biles brings Navy a physical, instinctive linebacker presence
Jake Biles is the kind of linebacker Navy can trust to steady the defense: physical, assignment-sound, and productive when plays come his way. ESPN lists him with 45 solo tackles and 1 interception in his Navy career, while Navy’s own historical coverage shows he once finished with 109 solo tackles in a season, underscoring his proven tackle volume and willingness to attack downhill. The differentiator is reliability in space and between the tackles rather than flash, making him a fit for a defense that values discipline, effort, and steady run support.
