Hayden Jones is a 6-foot-6, 245- to 255-pound Colorado tight end whose best calling card is versatility: he was a productive high school playmaker with 35 catches for 499 yards and 2 TDs in his senior season, but also a legit in-line blocker who flashed 14 pancake blocks and downfield punch. He earned first-team all-league, all-metro, and Division 3 player-of-the-year honors in high school, and Colorado noted he was rehabbing from shoulder surgery in a recent redshirt-freshman window, so his availability and health matter.
