Experienced Hawaii DB with limited 2015 impact
DeMattei was a senior defensive back for Hawai'i in the 2015 season, appearing in eight games and starting once, so the clearest case for him is experience and depth rather than headline production.[2][3] Available records do not show major stat production or recent scouting buzz, which suggests a role player profile: a steady practice/rotation defensive back who can add roster maturity, but not a clearly documented difference-maker based on public data alone.[1][2][3]
