Shawan Parks brings depth and slot-style reliability to Alabama State’s receiver room
Shawan Parks is a compact, proven depth receiver for Alabama State whose value is in dependability and experience rather than eye-popping size or volume; in 2014 he appeared in six games in a reserve role, and his roster profile lists him as a redshirt sophomore from Prattville, Alabama[1][2]. At 5-2, he is an extreme outlier physically, so the differentiator is whether his quickness, toughness, and assignment consistency can create matchup stress and help in a specific role rather than as a featured target[1].
