Versatile Pitt LB with special-teams value and veteran depth
Jameel Poteat brings veteran experience and dependable special-teams value to Pitt’s linebacker room; in the 2015 season, he appeared in 12 games and logged three tackles as a reserve linebacker, showing he can stay ready and contribute in a supporting role. A former highly regarded Pennsylvania recruit, his edge is toughness and roster flexibility rather than headline-grabbing stat production, making him a useful fit for teams that want a steady, physical depth piece who knows how to handle his job without drama.
