Grant Watanabe brings Colorado a high-motor, multi-year linebacker with proven production
Grant Watanabe is a Colorado linebacker whose value comes from experience, toughness, and steady defensive reliability rather than flash; Colorado’s roster lists him as a linebacker, and his high school profile highlights rare durability and leadership, including being the first player in Brennan High history to play four varsity seasons and earning APSE Class 4A all-state honorable mention as a senior[4]. That profile suggests a disciplined, physical fit for a defense that needs dependable, assignment-sound players who can handle volume and bring intensity every snap[4].
