Southern Illinois DE Adam Brandt is a depth-upside edge rusher with a profile worth tracking
Adam Brandt is listed as a defensive end for Southern Illinois, but publicly available source detail on his 2026 production is limited, so the safest read is that he is a player to monitor rather than a proven stat leader.[1] What matters is the position fit: edge defenders at SIU are typically judged on disruption, motor, and versatility, and Brandt’s value will hinge on whether he can consistently pressure the quarterback and hold up against the run. Based on the lack of widely available impact stats, he looks more like a developmental fit than an instant centerpiece.[1]
