Liberty’s clutch long-range kicker with record-setting leg
John Lunsford was a high-end **field-goal weapon** for Liberty, known for elite long-range range and clutch upside, including an NCAA FCS record for **50-plus-yard field goals** and a 60-yard game-tying kick that drew national attention. He was a multi-time All-American and preseason All-America selection, which signals both production and respect from evaluators. For a team, his fit is simple: if you want a kicker who can change game-planning with distance, confidence, and big-moment poise, Lunsford’s profile is exactly that.
