Akron’s steady-footed specialist: Jason Swiger brings career reliability and long-range pop
Jason Swiger is a proven Akron specialist with a career field-goal mark of 64.9%, an extra-point rate of 95.7%, and a long of 50 yards, giving the Zips a kicker who can handle routine work and occasionally stretch the field in the 2025 season and beyond[1][2][3]. In his Akron career, he has converted 38 of 57 field goals and 115 of 119 extra points, which points to dependable scoring production more than pure boom-or-bust flair[3][5]. If your team wants a calm, experienced kicker with solid accuracy and proven range, Swiger fits the “safe points” profile nicely[1][2][3].
