Auburn’s versatile, battle-tested interior lineman
Devonte Danzey was a sturdy, multi-position piece for Auburn in the 2015 season, rotating at left guard, starting at right guard vs. Jacksonville State, and even stepping in at center after injuries hit the Tigers’ front. Auburn listed him at 6-2, 305 pounds in 2015, and he earned preseason third-team All-SEC notice from league coaches, which hints at respect for his reliability and toughness. What makes him interesting isn’t flash — it’s flexibility, experience, and trustworthiness in the trenches. If your team wants a physical, assignment-sound lineman who can survive chaos and plug holes, Danzey fits the bill.
