Ball-hawking, high-IQ DB with proven playmaking upside
Tareq Abulebbeh profiles as a compact, instinctive defensive back with a real nose for the football: at Southern Illinois he appeared in six games while battling injuries and still posted 16 tackles in the 2025-era roster history available, and his earlier stops show a playmaker who can change drives with interceptions, including a six-pick season at San Diego Mesa and a team-leading three interceptions in 2018 at UMD[3][6][8][13]. He also brings value beyond the box score with academic honors, a track record of bouncing back from injury, and enough versatility to help a team looking for a tough, opportunistic DB who can compete and create turnovers[2][3][8].
