Former UConn Defensive Line Standout Now Coaching in the NFL
Julian Campenni's playing days at Connecticut (2011-2015) are behind him—he earned Second Team All-American Athletic Conference honors as a senior after 47 career games with 38 starts. The 2015 UConn graduate has since transitioned to coaching, most recently departing Rutgers to join the LA Chargers as an assistant defensive line coach. While his college tape showed solid fundamentals and durability as a defensive lineman, Campenni's real value now lies in his coaching acumen and ability to develop defensive front talent at the professional level.
