Columbia’s Procter Hug looks like a steady last line of defense
Procter Hug is listed by Columbia as a football safety/free safety, but the current public record available here does not provide season stats, rankings, or detailed game-by-game production. What stands out is the role itself: a defensive back spot that rewards range, communication, and reliability, so if he’s on your board, you’re likely looking at a player who fits a disciplined secondary and can help stabilize coverage on the back end. In short: intriguing if you need a smart, assignment-sound safety, but there isn’t enough verified performance data here to make a strong statistical case.
