Freshman DL Frank Fanua Jr. arrives at Cal as a consensus three-star with real developmental juice: he played both sides of the line at Mount Miguel, posted 27 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks as a 2025 senior, and has been described by his high school coach as "extremely explosive and twitchy." He’s a strong fit if Cal wants length, effort and positional versatility in the front, though at 6-3, 220 he’s still a growth project for the interior.
