Floyd Redfield is a former Notre Dame safety, not a current Irish player
There does not appear to be a current Notre Dame football player named Floyd Redfield; the Notre Dame safety most clearly associated with that name is Max Redfield, who was dismissed from the team in 2016 after an off-field incident. For a current roster fit, this is not an active Notre Dame defensive back situation, and any evaluation should treat him as a former player rather than a 2026 contributor.
