Power back with elite prep production, but Wake Forest usage has stayed quiet
Egbe is a 5-foot-10, 208-pound Wake Forest back whose best calling card is his compact build and proven tackle-breaking pop from his prep days, when he posted 1,239 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns in his 2022 senior season at Loomis Chaffee. In the 2023 season, he appeared in eight games for Wake Forest but totaled just nine carries for 23 yards, and he did not play in 2024, so the on-field college sample is still small. If you want a low-mileage, physical runner with some upside, he’s interesting; if you need an immediate proven producer, he’s still more projection than finished product.
