Delta Devils DB with local-program pedigree, but limited public stat trail
Underwood is a Mississippi Valley State defensive back with enough name recognition to show up in roster tracking, and his family football connection adds a bit of built-in intrigue—his brother C.J. Winston’s bio notes Dytereous played at Mississippi Valley State. Publicly available 2026 performance stats are sparse, so the clean read is this: he’s a depth-chart-and-development prospect worth watching for a program that needs rangy, disciplined DBs who can compete physically and grow into bigger responsibilities.
