Troy Trojans Punter with NFL Pedigree
Olmsted is a punter from Troy University who made the leap to professional football with the Miami Dolphins[1]. As a Sun Belt Conference standout, he represents the caliber of special teams talent that can emerge from mid-major programs. His path from Troy to the NFL demonstrates the value scouts place on consistent, reliable leg talent at the punter position—a role often overlooked but critical for field position management. For programs seeking proven special teams depth or competition, Olmsted's professional experience offers a proven track record of performance under pressure.
