Explosive Texas Tech playmaker whose game-changing speed once made him a major dual-threat weapon
Jakeem Grant Sr. stood out at Texas Tech as a compact, explosive receiver and return specialist whose value went well beyond box-score production: he finished his college career as the Red Raiders’ all-time receiving yards leader and consistently created hidden yards with elite open-field burst and return ability.[1][2] In his most recent Texas Tech season, he produced 67 catches, 938 yards, and 7 touchdowns, showing reliable efficiency rather than just gadget-player flash.[3] The biggest differentiator is his speed and acceleration, but at 5'6" and 151 pounds, durability and catch-radius limitations are the obvious fit questions for any team.[4]
