Will Ferrin brings elite range and clutch leg strength to BYU’s special teams
Ferrin finished his BYU career as one of the program’s most reliable kickers, setting a school record with 25 straight made field goals and 120 consecutive PATs while also tying the program long with a 56-yard field goal in 2025.[3] His game is built on range, confidence on pressure kicks, and proven volume — in 2025 he hit 46 of 46 extra points and connected on 4 of 6 from 50+ yards, even though his overall FG percentage dipped to 78.6%.[5][6] He looks like a strong fit for teams that value big-leg upside and consistency on routine kicks.[5][16]
