LeRon Husbands brings size, receiving upside and versatility to Tulane’s tight end room
LeRon Husbands is a 6-foot-4, 231-pound redshirt junior tight end whose appeal is less about box-score production and more about projection: he transferred to Tulane after a 2024 season at Maryland in which he made his first career start and appeared in six games, and scouting coverage has highlighted reliable hands, downfield ball skills, YAC ability and enough blocking value to stay on the field. He fits best as a developmental, matchup-driven TE who could add value if Tulane wants a bigger target with receiver traits, but his résumé still says upside more than proven production.
