Charles Arvanigian is a versatile UMass freshman with a QB background and captain’s pedigree
Arvanigian enters Massachusetts as a fresh-faced, local product from Worcester who previously played quarterback at Stonehill and captained Worcester Academy, where he set a school record with 30 passing touchdowns in a season. In 2024 at Stonehill, he did not record any passing attempts and had just two rushing attempts, so the appeal is more projection than production right now. The interesting part: he brings leadership, experience operating an offense, and a high school track record of scoring through the air—nice traits if UMass is looking for a developmental, high-IQ athlete with upside.
