Colorado’s all-time target magnet and record-book technician
In his Colorado career, Nelson Spruce wasn’t just productive — he was the Buffaloes’ most reliable chain-mover, leaving school as the all-time leader in receptions (294) and receiving yards (3,347) while setting Pac-12 and CU records[2][6]. His game was built on precision, toughness, and consistency: he stacked 100-yard outings, produced in every phase of the passing game, and earned a reputation as a smart, high-IQ route runner who could be trusted in big moments[2][10]. If your team wants a polished, durable WR who wins with detail and volume rather than flash, Spruce is the archetype.
