Veteran San Jose State OL Doug Blacksill Brings Depth, Experience, and a Team-First Edge
Doug Blacksill is best viewed as a reliable depth piece on the offensive line: San Jose State listed him in his fifth season with the program, and he had appeared in eight games across his first three active seasons, all as a reserve.[1] What stands out most is his endurance as a multi-year contributor, plus the kind of low-drama, high-discipline profile coaches usually trust in the trenches—he was a communication studies major, competed in high school forensics, and comes from a football family, which hints at poise and professionalism.[1]
