Recap

East Carolina dominated Temple 45-14 in a lopsided road victory, scoring 31 unanswered points after the Owls tied the game at 14 midway through the second quarter. The Pirates' balanced attack featured two touchdown passes from Katin Houser to Yannick Smith, including a 59-yard strike, plus five rushing touchdowns from five different ball carriers. After Temple briefly showed life with scores from Jay Ducker and Keveun Mason, the Pirates' offense exploded while their defense completely shut down the Owls in the second half.
