Recap

East Carolina dominated Florida Atlantic in a 42-3 rout at Flagler Credit Union Stadium, racing to a 21-0 first quarter lead. Pirates quarterback Katin Houser accounted for four touchdowns, throwing scoring strikes to Desirrio Riles and Brock Spalding while adding two rushing touchdowns of his own. The Owls could only muster a 33-yard field goal from Garrison Smith late in the first quarter as the Pirates' offense struck early and often on their way to six total touchdowns.
