Recap

Virginia Tech staged a dramatic 23-21 road win over NC State at Carter-Finley Stadium, with John Love's clutch 49-yard field goal proving to be the difference. The Hokies' quarterback Kyron Drones connected on two touchdown passes, finding Marcellous Hawkins and Cameron Seldon to help Virginia Tech overcome the Wolfpack. Despite CJ Bailey throwing two touchdown passes and Jayden Scott punching in a go-ahead score in the fourth quarter, the Hokies' special teams heroics sealed the ACC thriller.
