Recap

Pittsburgh powered past Syracuse 30-13 at the JMA Wireless Dome behind an explosive special teams play and balanced scoring attack. Kenny Johnson's 66-yard punt return touchdown just before halftime broke a close game open, giving the Panthers a 17-7 lead. Kicker Trey Butkowski was perfect on the day with three field goals, while running backs Mason Heintschel and Juelz Goff each found the end zone to secure the comfortable road victory.
