Recap

Western Michigan stunned Central Michigan 24-21 in a thrilling rivalry battle, capped by Broc Lowry's clutch 7-yard touchdown pass to Tailique Williams with just 2:08 remaining. The Broncos rallied from a 21-14 deficit in the fourth quarter, with Palmer Domschke's 46-yard field goal keeping them within striking distance. Despite the Chippewas getting explosive plays including Langston Lewis' 77-yard touchdown reception, Western Michigan's late-game heroics secured the victory at Waldo Stadium.
