Florida State dominated Alabama 31-17 in an impressive home opener at Doak Campbell Stadium, unleashing a punishing ground attack with four rushing touchdowns from four different players. After trailing early, the Seminoles scored 24 unanswered points to build a commanding lead, including Micahi Danzy's explosive 32-yard touchdown run. The Crimson Tide briefly rallied with a fourth-quarter touchdown pass from Ty Simpson to Rico Scott, but Gavin Sawchuk's 14-yard scoring run sealed the victory for Florida State.
