Northwestern dominated Central Michigan 34-7 at Ford Field, with quarterback Preston Stone throwing three touchdown passes—two to Griffin Wilde—to power the Wildcats' decisive bowl victory. The Wildcats exploded for 21 points in just over three minutes late in the second quarter, and Braden Turner's 47-yard fumble return for a touchdown early in the third quarter put the game out of reach. Caleb Komolafe added a rushing score as Northwestern's balanced attack overwhelmed the Chippewas from start to finish.
