Recap

Akron secured a hard-fought 24-16 road victory over Buffalo, powered by quarterback Ben Finley's complete performance that included two touchdown passes and an explosive 38-yard touchdown run. After trailing 10-3 at halftime, the Zips stormed back with 21 second-half points, including Finley's touchdown strikes to Kyan Mason and Conner Cravaack. Despite the Bulls' early safety and Ta'Quan Roberson's touchdown pass to Patrick Clacks III, Buffalo couldn't overcome Akron's second-half surge.
