James Madison pulled away from Troy 31-14, with quarterback Alonza Barnett III leading the way with both a passing and rushing touchdown. The Dukes broke the game open in the fourth quarter on Barnett's 26-yard scoring run, followed by Drew Spinogatti's 22-yard fumble return for a touchdown less than a minute later. Wayne Knight's explosive 73-yard touchdown run in the second quarter highlighted an impressive offensive showing for the Dukes at Bridgeforth Stadium.
