West Virginia survived an epic Backyard Brawl, defeating Pittsburgh 31-24 in overtime behind Tye Edwards' three rushing touchdowns. The Mountaineers blew a 14-3 lead as Pitt scored 21 unanswered points, including Eli Holstein's touchdown pass to Raphael Williams Jr. that put the Panthers up 24-14 midway through the fourth quarter. West Virginia rallied late with Nicco Marchiol finding Grayson Barnes for a game-tying touchdown with just 11 seconds remaining, before Edwards punched in the decisive score in overtime.
