Recap

Oklahoma dominated Temple in a lopsided 42-3 victory at Lincoln Financial Field, with the Sooners scoring on their first three possessions to build an early 11-0 lead. Running back Tory Blaylock powered the offense with two second-quarter touchdown runs, while quarterback John Mateer contributed both through the air and on the ground, including an explosive 51-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. The Owls' lone score came on a 34-yard Carl Hardin field goal late in the first half as the Sooners' relentless attack proved too much to handle.
