Recap

Western Kentucky stunned Louisiana Tech 28-27 in overtime, securing victory with a gutsy two-point conversion from Rodney Tisdale Jr. to Moussa Barry. The Hilltoppers built a commanding 20-7 halftime lead before the Bulldogs rallied back with Devin Gandy's electric 85-yard kick return touchdown and two clutch field goals from John Hoyet Chance to force overtime. Despite Louisiana Tech taking the first overtime lead on Andrew Burnette's 2-yard touchdown run, George Hart III's second rushing score of the night set up Western Kentucky's game-winning heroics.
