Recap

North Texas rolled past UAB 53-24 behind an unstoppable performance from running back Caleb Hawkins, who found the end zone five times including four first-half touchdowns. The Mean Green stormed to a 28-0 lead before the Blazers could answer, with quarterback Drew Mestemaker adding two second-half touchdown passes to seal the victory. Despite three UAB touchdowns, North Texas dominated throughout at Protective Stadium, never allowing the home team to cut the deficit to fewer than 16 points.
