Jevon Jackson gives UAB a physical, reliable RB with proven scoring ability
Jevon Jackson is a sturdy, north-south running back whose value comes from volume, efficiency, and finishing drives: in 2024 at UTEP he logged 191 carries for 754 rushing yards and added 207 receiving yards, and in UAB’s 2025 season he delivered in big moments, including a two-touchdown outing in the finale against Tulsa and conference honorable mention recognition. He looks like a fit for teams that want a dependable chain-mover who can handle a meaningful workload, stay productive in multiple phases, and bring a competitive edge when the game tightens.
